Young Indigenous Leaders' Forum
The Young Indigenous Leaders' Forum brings together 20 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 18-25 from across Queensland. The Brisbane forum will be held from Sunday 24 May to Wednesday 27 May, 2009.
What happens at the forum?
At the forum, you’ll:
- learn about leadership from inspirational Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander speakers
- boost your leadership skills through workshop sessions
- connect to resources and other youth development opportunities
- develop networks with other young leaders and potential mentors
- discuss relevant issues and possible solutions and share stories from your own communities
- gain knowledge of business within the private, public and community sector
